International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech “Adil soz” was registered in Almaty City Department of Justice on April 12, 1999 as a public foundation.

Goal of “Adil soz”:

Provision of constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech

Tasks of the Foundation:

Legal education of journalists,

Legal protection of journalists and mass media,

Improvement of law “On Mass Media”.

Activity of the Foundation:

Monitoring of violation of freedom of speech

Trainings and publication of handbooks for journalists

Juridical assistance for journalists and mass media in conflicts
