According to the Commitee on the Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Republic of Kazakhstan

- Courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan considered 46 cases under Art. 174 of the Criminal Code in the first half of 2018. There were 57 accused in those cases. 41 of them were sentenced to various types of punishment.

- 181 cases under art. 174 of the Criminal Code were investigated by national security agencies in January-September 2018. 132 cases were registered in the National Register of Pre-Trial Investigations . 98 offenses cases were taken to court.
